Work Out Warm Ups

Many people have a tendency to overlook taking a few minutes before working out to stretch out their body and warm it up a little bit. Taking even just 5 minutes to warm up your muscles will greatly reduce your chances of injuring yourself when you work out! Personally, one of my biggest challenges in leading an active lifestyle is I have a tendency to push myself too hard and injure myself working out. I also wasn't doing my warm ups.
Lately I've been making sure to do my warm ups and also be OK with gradually building up my strength when I do my work outs. My mind tends to want to make my body do things it isn't ready for. I'm learning to be more patient with myself and trust that I will see the results over time if I just keep putting in the work. :)
